About

ZAË is my former sprayer name, which I discovered in 2014. Since then, I’ve associated many fond memories with it, and the three letters have stayed with me ever since. At the same time, I began hand-painting textiles — initially for friends who were part of a hip-hop crew. What started as a creative outlet soon evolved into something much more meaningful than just a hobby. A slowfashion brand flourishes.

Eventually, in February 2021, I launched my own slowfashion brand ZAË. It’s a label that reflects my deep love for textile design, while also showing a clear commitment to sustainability, slow production, and creative collaboration.

Today, each design is the result of diverse influences — inspired by urban cultures, travel, animals, people, and nature. Through this blend, ZAË represents both personal storytelling and conscious creation.

Inspired by travel, shaped by encounters and friendships, ZAË creates clothing for modern urban life.
We build a bridge between city and nature by committing to socially and ecologically responsible production. Our work reflects a deep belief in multiculturalism, passion, awareness, and creative expression.

The Trench

Material and story play a vital role in every trench coat I choose.

I love discovering a vintage trench coat and imagining its journey. Who wore it? Where was it made? In which year? Which shop first displayed it? Each piece holds a mystery—one that often invites more questions than answers.

Sometimes, labels or forgotten objects tucked into jacket pockets offer clues. A faded business card, an old coin—small discoveries that whisper about the coat’s previous life and its former owner. These details give every trench coat character, depth, and a unique story worth preserving.

Each trench coat begins its journey by being carefully sourced—usually from second-hand shops—then thoughtfully personalized. We clean, repair, and restore each coat with attention to detail, giving it a new life while honoring its past.
