The idea behind this collection is to assemble memories of places as in a sketchbook. The different types of design show symbols, pictures or drawing portraying emotions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Katazome<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

With the help of the Katazome printing technique, individual fragments of memories are turned into a whole picture.<\/p>

Katazome is a Japanese printing technic which works similar to screen-printing. Prints are realized with the help of a stencil. These stencils can be reused several times.<\/p>

Each individual illustration is carefully selected and combined with others to match the specific garment before being printed by hand. Each print is a surprise. Although it is a stencil, the result can vary greatly depending on the fabric and the pressure applied to the stencil during printing.<\/p>

To ensure that each piece matches the designer’s vision, some prints are painted by hand afterwards.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
