The artist Steffen “Hoker” Mumm lives and works in D\u00fcsseldorf. Hisunmistakable style is a combination of graffiti, calligraphy, illustration andpainting, which he has explored in various media and materials over many yearsin an experimental approach. With every brushstroke, every sprayed line, everysculpted object, he not only explores his own identity and personal growth, butalso invites the viewer to engage with the different facets of being human.The “Heads”, on which he has concentrated in recent years, are his trademark.Their tension and emotionality arise from the fact that the artist creates themjust as intuitively and spontaneously as he does with great attention to detailand technical precision. The heads and their expression are individual and atthe same time subordinate to a unifying system. They are as multi-layered ashuman existence. Hoker’s artworks invite us to immerse ourselves in ourselvesand discover the inner core that connects us all.<\/p>

The Trench Steffen designed was a quite spontaneous action during his stay in Paris. Lines and drawings are made with spraypaint which adds a trashy street look to this pretty much classical trench coat, now a unique and artistical piece.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
